The BfR MEAL Study in Numbers
How many foods are being processed into meals in the study kitchen? What foods are being taken into consideration and what substances are they being tested for? The latest issue of BfR2GO presents the BfR MEAL Study in numbers illustrated with compact infographics. What becomes clear here is that with roughly 60,000 foods that are being examined for just under 300 substances, the BfR MEAL Study is not only the first German but also the most comprehensive Total Diet Study to be conducted anywhere in the world up to now.
The science magazine BfR2GO appears twice a year with information on the latest developments in assessment and research in the field of consumer health protection.
